In the box

The women in my family started a tradition several years ago that involves a box. We regularly get together and list all the men that have wronged us and we ceremonially place them in a box. Our group consists of widows and divorcees and I fall into the last category. Our list goes back a long time and even includes childhood sweethearts. As we review the list, mine however, is the longest. I don't know if that should be considered bragging rights or if I should hang my head that I have picked such lousy guys.

So why am I creating this blog. Well, it seems that one of those guys from my past resurfaced and I now have a dilemma. Should he prove to be a good guy who has grown up since we were together, do I take him out of the box. Over the next several weeks, while the jury is out I am going to chronicle my "in the box" relationships and how they got in the box. I am hoping that this will help me determine how to get "out of the box".
